Mission Statement

The central mission of PLAY (Performance Leading Artistic Youth) is to take an active role in shaping the future by educating our students so that they will live up to the highest artistic standards imaginable. PLAY strives to enable students to develop and enhance their evaluation and communication skills by encouraging a sound sense of self, the development of the artistic eye, and a love for Performance Arts and Theater. Our ultimate goal is to create strong, self-confident, articulate, critical thinkers who know that they are the future leaders of the world and welcome the opportunity to rise to the challenge.

Our Philosophy

A well rounded education consists of an understanding of our role in the universe and insights into the human condition that are sensitive and compassionate. We all know that this can be done while having some fun. PLAY will help participants become thoughtful, confidant, and responsible scholars in a community environment that is student-centered and welcomes all.
